Shorty 'Wally' Thinking

Overview: As highly intellect he is, he is very calm and patient in dealing with the situation. As scientist and medic, he has strong belief that science always bested magic. He has a important responsibility in keep his allies and team alive and safe from danger especially healing them. He also has strong pride in inventing and building his invention.

Details: Based on Lu Xun (Dynasty Warriors), Billy Cranston (Power Rangers) and Professor Utonium (PPG); they representing as a character who rely on invention and strategy rather than charging blindly into battlefield. Adding Ratchet's personality, he will get grouchy and tempered if his items and invention get destroyed or damaged.

Originally, a light crimson-silver mixed coat with brown short mane and tail and his cutie mark was Book and Twin Knives. But I found that this isn't part of Shorty Thinking's character. So, I change them. I based on Comet Star's designs with silver body, crimson mane and tail, worn glasses and his cutie mark is now a book and thinking bulb.

Personality: A highly intellect, calm and patient strategist, who rather used his mind than physical attacks to defeat his enemies. He is also very focused on his duty and has a bigger picture on battlefield and planning the strategies. Other than intellect, he can be cunning, creative and resourcefulness in applying the tactics. He also very good and skilled in making, building and inventing inventions and medicine. Despite being calm and patient, he can be tempered whenever his inventions get destroyed or ignored his warning and concerns - mostly Laxtinct destroyed his works. He can be forgetful of his family's introduction or important stuffs, which cause some tensions. However, he rarely loses his temper unless something angered him. He is the only unicorn, who never rely on magic but his bare hooves and science to deal with situation.

History: In his previous and incarnation lifetime, Shorty Thinking once served under his master Riverstrike as his student. But after his master died in illness, he continued studying and serving for his kingdom and even worked under one of his mentors - Stark Bold. And one of his accomplish achievement is defeating vengeful Virtue Dragon and his kingdom at 'Battle of Grave Stone Maze' and 'Defense Campaign against Imperial Phoenix Kingdom'. Other than just strategist and commander, he became Prime Minister to his kingdom. He served his country for a long time before his death.

As Mystic Pony, he was chosen and kept her memories of her previous life, title and counterpart. He stepped down as commander since Riverstrike has returned as Prime Minister. Like the rest of Mystic Ponies, he doesn't see Dragon Hope as a friend but a threat and rookie. But after he was earned of trust and impressed by Shadow Dragon, they both became friends and brothers-in-comrades. He also foundered the team with his friends as Dragon Strike Force.

In 1400 AE, Shadow Dragon told his friends about adventure and discovery to Equestria. He and his friends decide to keep secrets from Mystic Ponies and helped him to deal with threats from both realms.  After the failed negotiation, Shadow Dragon helped and led Dark Mystic Ponies in coup d'etat against Mystic Ponies. He and his remaining resistance escaped for regroup and readied with the rebellion.

He and his team went after Shadow Dragon in giving a big snap to Shadow Dragon in getting back to their team. Second Mystic War lasted for 5 years, they launched full assaults on Mystic Jade Palace, defeated most of the enemies including Demon Generals and Swipestrike. After the war, Dark Curse and his empire have been banished to Darkness Realm forever. The fate for Shadow Dragon has been decided...

Power Master's MLP Present: Shadow Dragon was banished from Mystic Realm for 500 years while he and his team remained behind at Mystic Realm. In early 20XX, Shorty Thinking continued served his kingdom. After Jade Emperor announced of alliance with Equestria, he and his team reunited with Shadow Dragon. He  even got involved with Third Mystic War, which put the end of her nemeses and enemies for good. Despite the war has ended, he remained with his friends and allies at Equestria. He even assisted and dated Rarity as his girlfriend.

JusSonic's MLP Present: After Shadow Dragon returned to darkness and banished to Darkness Realm with the rest, Dragon Strike Force disbanded. Shorty Thinking isolated himself in his lab while serving his country. After the Equestria and Mystic Realm reestablished their alliance, he and his friends were reunited together as new Dragon Strike Force by Ben Valorheart and Flash Sentry after they stopped the mysterious Mystic Knight. He provide the training and assistance to Twilight Sparkle and her friends.

'I needed that' - Whenever his invention got damaged and destroyed, he exclaimed in anger.
'Are you out of your mind' - He only responded it if his allies are doing something reckless and dangerous
'Mind over Battle' - He proclaimed it after defeating his enemies or proud of his achievement.
'Science beats Magic' - He exclaimed it when his science proved effective than magic while solving the problems.

Ability:
Element of Wood: Chosen by the ancient relic from the past, he can summoned and regenerate the nature and its roots of trees and bushes to assist him against his enemies. With the help of Element of Water, his power will grow stronger and powerful but weakened by Element of Fire and Thunder. Brown represent goodness and calmness of his power. Should his power be corrupted, his nature power will turn into black with dried and deadly form of nature.

a) Vine Whip: Allowed him to summon a whip in attacking his enemies or even allowed him to swing across the jungle.
b) Razor Leaf: Firing the storm of leaves-like ninja stars in attacking his enemies
c) Chestnut Grenade: A devastating bomb-like chestnut will damage and destroy the morale of his enemies and bases.
d) Maker: Allowing him to use nature's power and formed any kind of weaponry.
e) Regenerate: Element of Wood allowed him to restore the health and power of his allies.
f) Hidden Mode: This allowed him to hid beneath bushes and trees from his enemies, thus allowing him to ambush and gone stealth.
g) Solar Beam: As the sun rise to the sky, it boosted the Element of Wood of unleashing devastating powerful beam of gold in destroying his enemies.
h) United Friendship Rainbow Power: When combining with all of Elements of Harmony, the Element of Wood can perform its powerful attacks against, purified and restore the enemies, or replenish the energies and strengths of ponies. It followed what the user's desire as well as perform its Dark specific attacks. It recreate or destroy the world. It follow what the user's desire: Destruction or Creation.

Mystic Forms: 
a) Super Mystic Form/Rainbow Power:  It allowed Shorty Thinking enter his super forms while increasing his strength, magic, abilities, skills and even Element of Wood. His Element of Wood will be able to regenerate and heal his injuries, as well as his allies and eliminate the pollutions. His mane and tail are covered with Rainbow Mane (dark orange and brown).
b) Swamp Beetle: With the Element of Wood, he can transformed into the form of humanoid Hercules Beetle-like warrior. This not only boosted his speed, but also his strength and endurance. His intelligence remained intact with him. He even can navigated and sensed through woods and nature.

Weapons:
a) Flame Volley Blaster: Shorty Thinking primary weapon, which was made of Mystic Blaster and Fire Arrows that allowed him to shoot at his targets.

b) Heavy Nut Canon: An upgrade and advanced weapon of Flame Volley Blaster. This is combined with the increased power of Wood Mystic Stone. This allowed him to fire a powerful fireball-like attacks on his enemies and bases.

c) Gatling Wood Cutter: Owned and used by Mystic Guardian of Wood, an ancient weapon that can unleashed a powerful and strong hails of splinters, including fire arrows and canon-like at his targets. He even can unleashed the power of Solar Beam.

Equestria Girls' Alternative Form: His counterpart is calm and patient professor to Dragon Strike Team and student for Canterlot High School. He and Rarity were dating together.
